Manfrotto products are warranted to be fit for the purpose for which they have been designed, and to be free from defects in materials and workmanship.

Manfrotto offers two levels of limited warranty:
- A first level of warranty defined as “Standard Limited Warranty”.
- A second level of warranty is defined as “Extended Limited Warranty”, offered by Manfrotto as a special extension of the “Standard Limited Warranty”. “Extended Limited Warranty” does not cover labour costs.

Standard Limited Warranty
The period of validity of this “Standard Limited Warranty” is 2 years from the date of sale to the original purchaser.

The “Standard Limited Warranty” offered by Manfrotto warrants, to the original purchaser only, is that this product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal and proper usage.

Manfrotto’s obligation in this 2-year warranty is limited to repairing or replacing, at Manfrotto’s discretion, products or parts determined by Manfrotto to be defective in materials or workmanship.

If the original product has been superseded, replacement may be made with a current model of the similar quality and function. Warranty of any replacement parts is limited to 90 days or the unexpired portion of the warranty period of the product on which the parts are being used, whichever is longer.

Manfrotto “Extended Limited Warranty”
Beyond the “Standard Limited Warranty”, Manfrotto offers an additional 1 year limited warranty extension in accordance with the terms and conditions overleaf.

The “Extended Limited Warranty” offered by Manfrotto warrants, to the original purchaser only, is that this product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal and proper usage for extra 1 year period above and beyond the “Standard Limited Warranty”.

Manfrotto’s obligation in this “Extended Limited Warranty” is limited to repairing or replacing, at Manfrotto’s discretion, products or parts determined by Manfrotto to be defective in materials or workmanship.

If the original product has been superseded, replacement may be made with a current model of the similar quality and function. Warranty of any replacement parts is limited to 90 days or the unexpired portion of the warranty period of the product on which the parts are being used, whichever is longer.

“Extended Limited Warranty” does not cover labour costs.

Q: How to get the Manfrotto 1-year “Extended Limited Warranty”?
In order to get “Extended Limited Warranty”, you must register with us within 12 months from the date of purchase.

You must keep your original receipt as proof of purchase for the warranty to be valid: you will need to resend the original receipt when you service or repair your product under warranty.

Terms & Conditions
All types of warranty does not cover any defects or costs caused by:

- misuse and subsequent damage, accidental damage. Examples of misuse of product including: Damage caused by burning and contacting corrosive substances.
- natural wear off of materials that occurs after extended use. Examples of natural wear off including zipper wear, fabric abrasion, etc.
- modification, alteration, repair or service of this product by anyone other than Manfrotto & Manfrotto authorized service agents; Example of alteration including failure due to disassemble products.
- physical abuse to, overload of, or misuse of the product.
- any use of the product other than that for which it was designed.
- damage due to shipment of the product to Manfrotto for service.
- failure to show original receipt of authorized dealers of Hong Kong & Macau.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL KATA BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PERSONAL INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, DAMAGE TO OR LOSS OF EQUIPMENT, LOST PROFITS OR REVENUE, COSTS OF RENTING REPLACEMENTS AND OTHER ADDITIONAL EXPENSES, EVEN IF KATA HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

ANY EXPRESS WARRANTY NOT PROVIDED HEREIN, AND ANY REMEDY WHICH, BUT FOR THE WARRANTY CONTAINED HEREIN, MIGHT ARISE BY IMPLICATION OR OPERATION OF LAW, IS HEREBY EXCLUDED AND DISCLAIMED INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS, WHICH MAY VARY FROM JURISDICTION TO JURISDICTION.  

To obtain the warranty service, the purchaser should return the product or the defective part(s), carefully packed and with proof of purchase date to the Manfrotto authorized service agents in Hong Kong. All shipping expenses are the purchaser’s responsibility.

In accepting all types of warranty you agree that the terms and conditions of it are the entire agreement between us relating to the extension of the liability of us as the producer under the law of the country, state or region where the product has been sold. In particular there is no other express or implied warranty given by Manfrotto as the producer to you.

Personal information:
Storage, use and distribution of the information you provide. By completing the registration form and questionnaire, you authorize Manfrotto and those companies directly involved in the fulfillment of our “Extended Limited Warranty” extension to use the information you give for the following purposes:
- to fulfil our obligations under the “Extended Limited Warranty”, in order to offer you a better service
- to keep track of product sales, production batches and defects, in order to improve existing products
- to perform statistical research and analysis of market trends in order to improve new products

Your information will be stored electronically by Manfrotto, and may be given to Manfrotto distributors for service or repair of your product under the limited warranty extension. You can write to us at any time to see a copy of the information from you that we have stored, and you can also ask us at any time to cancel all information held about you.
