This is how a tripod should work: quick and easy set up and effortless to close. At the heart of this tripod lies the innovative Neotec mechanism which, hidden safely inside the leg and without any external levers or knobs, pushes outwards on the tubing to lock the leg in place at any extension. With the patented Neotec rapid opening and closing mechanism, with no screws, knobs or levers to tighten or loosen, just pull each leg downwards to open and automatically lock it in any position. Then, to fold it back up again, press the mechanism release button and push the leg closed. The mechanism exerts more locking power the heavier the weight pushing down on it from above. 'Upside down' leg construction also stops the worst of the mud you’re standing in from ending up inside the tripod.
